Traveling Superintendent

The company is dedicated to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. We are seeking a skilled Traveling Superintendent to join the team and oversee construction projects across different locations.
Job Summary:
As a Traveling Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company standards and client specifications. This role requires extensive travel to different states, depending on the project location, and the ideal candidate should be flexible and willing to work in various environments.
Responsibilities:
- Provide overall on-site leadership and direction during the construction phase of projects.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure project schedules and deadlines are met.
- Oversee project progress.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any potential issues or delays.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project objectives are met.
- Monitor and manage project budgets, including labor and material costs, and provide regular progress reports to senior management.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, project logs, and change orders.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and permit requirements.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and providing exceptional customer service.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements related to construction management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and completing construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel extensively, depending on project locations.
- Ability to adapt to different project environments and work effectively under pressure.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with construction management software.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year.
