Necto Search & Selection are currently seeking a Site Engineer for a highly respected Northern Irish contractor for a large educational project in Sligo. This project has another 12 months on site with further work all in the North of Ireland. Our Client will offer the successful Site Engineer a market leading salary and benefits package.
As a Site Engineer you will
- Supporting Site Manager/PM in day to day site functions
- Strong understanding of quality, safety and environmental standards in executing and development of a project
- Coordination of sub contractors
- Monitor and control of health and safety standards on site
- Carry out site inductions as required
- Liaise with the design team on construction issues
- Raise RFIs with the design team
- Issue requisitions for materials
- Maintain the site diary / daily log activities
- Monitor and control quality / work standards on site
- Manage concrete quality, taking cubes / slump tests on site & recording results
- Maintain goods received register
What's required?
- A Degree / HND in engineering or other relevant discipline
- A current valid CSR / CSCS Card
- A minimum of 4 years postgraduate experience
- Strong experience of Setting Out/Levels experience
- Reinforced concrete works experience
- Excellent communication and planning skills
- IT literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of BIM an advantage
