Site Engineer

NECTO Selection are searching for Site Engineers for a tier 1 industry-leading client based in the Greater London Area on a high-end residential project. Our client is one of the biggest contractors in Ireland & the UK with a proven track record in multiple sectors including residential, commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, retail, conservation, and tourism/leisure.

Description

Reporting directly to the Site Manager, the successful candidate will play an integral part in an on-site management team tasked with delivering a quality project, on budget, safely, and on time.

Their main duties will include;

·      Supporting the Site Manager with daily operations as required

·      Setting out, levelling, and quality control, temporary works checks and temporary works coordination

·      Checking plans and drawings, and setting out coordination

·      Acting as the main technical adviser on site for specialist subcontractors, concrete frame contractor

·      Planning the work and efficiently organising the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines

·      Preparing reports as required for senior site manager & project manager.

·      Record keeping of all site activities, maintaining a site diary, uploading material to the DMS, etc.

·      Strictly adhering to the Company’s health and safety, environmental, quality, and other on-site policies and procedures

Requirements

·      A relevant higher-level degree in Civil Engineering or another related discipline

·      A current valid CSR/CSCS card

·      A minimum of 3 years of postgraduate experience

·      Previous experience of setting out£3M+ structures

·      Operational knowledge of current health & safety regulations

·      Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

·      The ability to work efficiently as part of a team

·      Must be self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve results
