Site Based QS role - Greater Belfast

NECTO Selection are currently recruiting for a Junior, Quantity Surveyor for a large construction project in the Portadown / Craigavon areas. You will work closely with the Senior QS on this project and be given sections of this construction project to manage.

This position is mainly site- based but offers flexible working when required. (Office or home). There is no UK travel for this role.

Typical responsibilities of this role include;

• Assist the Senior QS for the cost management of this D&B Project
• Report directly to the Senior QS and training and development to be implemented by the group commercial director.
• Build relationships with colleagues to ensure project delivery.
• Client liaison meetings and attending regular progress meetings
• Work closely with sub-contractors
• Measurement duties
• Assisting disputes in order to protect and further Company interest and relationships
• Assisting, advising and input into development and improvement of procurement
• Reporting on monthly valuations, client variations, etc
• Any other responsibilities as necessary for the completion of the role

To be considered for this role you should possess;

• 2-3 years' experience within a main contractor or specialist sub-contract
• QS Degree
• Full Driving license
