NECTO Selection is representing a proud Irish Main Contractor with the recruitment of a talented Project Manager. We are recruiting a Project Manager to lead on a very high-end, deep retrofit of an existing 10,000M2 office building for a government department. The value of this project is €40M and you will lead this fantastic project from inception through to completion. Our client has established themselves as being a respected brand in the delivery of complex construction projects. You will have the full support of a strong senior management team but will be allowed to run this project as you see fit.

As Project Manager on this fantastic project you will;

Have input on the planning of tender returns

Advise on delivery of tenders – methodology etc

Programming of works

Sequencing/logic of works

Representing the contractor with the client & building relationships throughout the entire project team

Ensure site teams comply with procedures; H&S, QA etc

Delivering projects safely and on time to the project expectations

Aiding technical submittals

Procurement of subcontractors & suppliers

Prepare & revise the programme of works

Issue contractual notices – variations, delay & ext. of time

Monitor costs & input on monthly CVR – take appropriate actions

Chair progress meetings & report on the same

Essential;

Excellent time management

Communication skills are of course vital

Strong computer skills to monitor programmes

Prepare reports and administer the necessary paperwork
