The Role
The role of Project Surveyor involves all elements of cost management including:
• The Day-To-Day Delivery of Our Quantity Surveying Service
• Pre and Post contract cost control
• Advice to Design teams on cost efficient design
• Input to and development of procurement strategies
• Preparation of Bills of Quantities
• Working With Design teams to Prepare Development Budgets
• Agreeing Monthly payment valuations
• Agreement of Final Accounts
• The development of cost plans and estimates
• Production and Regular Issue of Cost Reports, and
• Developing Knowledge and Experience of Key Industry Requirements
Education & Skills Preferred
Degree or Higher in Quantity Surveying
• Chartered or in the process of gaining chartership
• Good Written and Spoken Communicator
• Working Knowledge of CostX software
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
• Strong Interpersonal Skills, Presentation Skills and a Team Player
