Intermediate Quantity Surveyor (IQS) - Dublin - Major Project

NECTO Selection is currently recruiting for a senior quantity surveyor for a tier 1 Irish main contractor for Dublin.

The Intermediate Quantity Surveyor (IQS) will play an integral role in the successful deliverance of a new large scale commercial project with a senior management structure to aid their development. This is an excellent opportunity to join a new team and work on large construction projects in Dublin for the foreseeable future

Typical duties as a Intermediate Quantity Surveyor duties include:

- Measure, price, negotiate and agree budgets and costs for variations to project scope.

- Check project costs are correct and raise/resolve queries where necessary.

- Management of commercial and contractual aspects of relationships with customers, consultants and subcontractors

- Assess subcontractor payment entitlement and process payments.

- Carry out reconciliation of cost and value to date/forecast to keep the management team informed of project performance.

- Assist in the guidance and development of junior surveyors.

To be considered for this role :

- Up to 5+ years construction experience

- Degree Educated - QS or Equivalent

- Full driving License
