This notice explains how Necto Search & Selection Ltd ("Necto", "we", "us") uses the personal information you give us through nectoselection.com. We are a construction recruitment business based in Belfast, with an office in Drogheda. We are the controller of this information.
What we collect
- When you apply for a job: your name, email address, phone number and the job you applied for.
- When you use the contact form: your name, email address and your message.
- When you sign up through the take home pay calculator: your name, email address, job title, and if you give them, your phone number, current employer, when you would move and where you would go. We also keep the calculator result you were looking at (salary, passport and top country).
- When you fill in a salary survey: your answers about your role, pay and benefits, and your email address if you give it. If you give your current salary in the calculator, it is stored separately, without your name or contact details.
- Technical information: your IP address and browser type, which we keep with each form so we can stop spam and abuse. We use privacy-friendly analytics that do not set cookies.
How we use it
- To consider you for the role you applied for, and to contact you about it.
- To reply to your message.
- If you asked for them, to send you roles that match what you told us and our salary guide.
- To produce our salary surveys and guides. We only publish these as totals and averages. We never publish anything that identifies you.
- To keep the website secure and stop spam.
Our legal basis
When you sign up for roles or the salary guide, we rely on your consent. When you apply for a job or contact us, we rely on taking steps you have asked us to take, and on our legitimate interest in running a recruitment business. We rely on our legitimate interest to keep the site secure.
Who we share it with
We share your details with an employer only when we put you forward for a role, and we tell you first. We do not sell your information. We use a small number of service providers to run the website and our systems:
- Cloudflare: website hosting and storage.
- Microsoft: email.
- Google: spreadsheets and website fonts.
- Resend: sending emails from the website.
Some of these providers may process information outside the UK and Ireland. Where they do, they use the safeguards the law requires, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while it is useful for finding you work or answering your enquiry. We delete it when you ask us to, or when we no longer need it.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent at any time. To unsubscribe from roles or the salary guide, use the link in any email or tell us. To use any of these rights, email [email protected].
If you are not happy with how we handle your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK (ico.org.uk) or the Data Protection Commission in Ireland (dataprotection.ie).
