Necto Selection are working closely with an Irish Main Contractor that have been awarded a new private project on the outskirts of South Dublin. The Senior Quantity Senior Surveyor (SQS) will play an integral role in the successful deliverance of a residential scheme to include high rise apartments (€35m). You will be the lead Quantity Surveyor (SQS) on this project working closely with the regional commercial director. This role will see you based in Head office (South Dublin), Site (South Dublin) and also has the opportunity to work from home if required / desired.

Duties and responsibilities

Duties:

- Ensuring contractual obligations are met

- Full commercial responsibility for a residential project

- Cost control and management of sub-contractors

- Ensuring contractual obligations are met

- Update client and regional director on progress 

Ability and knowledge of:

- Construction methods and technologies

- Measurement and valuation

- Knowledge and understanding of subcontract/material orders and procurement

- Preparation and understanding of commercial reports.

To be considered for this role : 

- 5-10 years working experience in a Quantity Surveyor role on construction projects

- Degree Educated - QS or Equivalent

- Full driving License
