NECTO Selection are representing a growing main contractor and fit-out contractor that are seeking to add further layers onto their organisation by recruiting a new Group Commercial Director.

With new project wins and a growing order book in various sectors they are seeking a new Senior member of management to oversee a team of Surveyors, grow their commercial function and report on legalities

Reporting to the MD you will work on projects through to final account and oversee tender submissions.

Duties:

• Act as an advisory on contractual and legal matters relevant to the project
• Preparation and management of subcontractors, suppliers and material procurement schedules
• Management of junior members of staff
• Budget control / materials management / valuations
• Preparation of cost reports and projections
• Ability to negotiate with subcontractors, suppliers with a view to agree final accounts
• Preparing monthly cost analysis reports for monthly management meetings
• Other duties and responsibilities as per project

The Person

• Degree educated in Quantity Surveying
• 7 + years’ experience
• Previous experience working for a main contractor or Developer
• Strong communicator with good commercial acumen
